Some of you may know I've been dealing with Bronchitis that turned to Pneumonia. Well I had a relapse yesterday and I'm definitely not feeling  better. The Doctor is sending me for some tests and I'm going on another round of antibiotics and prednisone and an steroid inhaler.
My assistant is on vacation until March 10th
so Im on my own here.
So please have patience as the orders will take longer than my normal 1 - 2 day shipping.
This is especially true on the custom orders I have. I will get to all orders as soon as possible. I hate the fact I have to post this notice up but I've talked to a few of my customers and they suggested it. I don't want customers to think I'm some kind of deadbeat who doesn’t ship orders out. 

Oh and if you know anyone on the shaving forum I can’t post on that starts with a B please let them know the situation. I’ll post updates and I’m hoping the medication I’m going to start taking today knocks this out of me.

Thank you guys for the thoughtful messages. Yesterday I had a chest X-RAY and just waiting on the results and last night I started on my 2nd go round of antibiotics and prednisone and I have to pick up a prescription today if a steroid inhaler as they had to order it. Dr is sending me to a pulmonary doctor, for tests to make sure there is nothing more seriously wrong.
So hopefully this round of medication along with a few days of rest will get me back on track.

I realize it takes time to heal and I’d like to thank all my customers who I call friends for the thoughtful emails, texts and phone calls. Means a lot to me !

Since I don’t have any other activities other than getting as much rest as possible, watching TV, Zooming with my graphic designer which I enjoy as I feel like I’m at least getting something done work wise . I like many people spend to much time on my phone looking at social media and as some know I put a post up on Instagram letting people know my health issue Im dealing with and how it’s effecting the business on all levels but most importantly how it’s affecting getting their orders out.

So with that said and the main point here is Im very impressed but how many Soap Makers either hit the like button or left comments telling me to feel better or take care of yourself etc. I don’t know them all but some I consider not only friends but brothers and sister soap makers. So a shout out to my friends Will at B&M, Sean at McDuffs, Monnaoaps, Lisa at Lisa’s Naturals, Lee at WSP, Elysian Soaps, and a shout out to my vendors and Mark the Sharpologist and the owners of the two shaving forums I most frequent. Of Course all my customers and members on here and the other forums.



One thing about this hobby of ours. There’s a lot of good people in this Wet Shaving Community with a lot of class who also leave their egos at the door. I’m sitting here thinking it’s like good medicine to me that’s making me feel better.

Had to get that off my chest.



Oh and I’ve got something really cool to show you guys that my graphic designer Monica and I did today for a project I’ve been keeping under the blankets for a while now and I’ll post up the photo of the Top cap and explain a little about it.

UPDATE: 


While I’m home dealing with my health issue my graphic designer and I have had a few zoom meetings and we’ve been getting a lot of work done in the area of label design for near future projects. As I mentioned I would share some of those. 

As I’ve posted I’m making both a F Base Shave Soap and a Tallow Shave Creme in the Rosa which BTW I’ve had a few messages about saying they’d like a Shave Creme in a straight Rose Aroma so I thought I’d share the ingredient list that will appear on the side label. This is for those that don’t know the latest updated version of the Tallow Shave Creme. This is essentially the same as the Bergamotto Shave Creme but because of not having an ingredient at the time of the release of the Bergamotto this is slightly different and of course because of the Rose ingredients which have their own skin beneficial properties to them naturally this in my humble opinion will even kick up things a bit. 

Ingredients: Aloe Vera Juice, Bulgarian Rose De Mai Hydrosol, Grass Fed Whipped Beef Tallow, Stearic Acid, Castor Oil, Potassium Hydroxide, Coconut Oil, Myristic Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Organic Shea Butter, Organic IIIIpe Nut Butter, Orgnic Rose Butter, Organic Vegatable Glycein, Sheep Milk, Coconut Milk, Sodium Hydroxide, Ostrich Oil, Rosehip Oil, Bulgarian Rose Damask Essential Oil, Bulgarian White Rose Essential Oil,, Rose Extract CO2, Organic Rose Distillate, EOS Complex, Allantoin, Rose Damask Absolute, Oat Amino Acids, Silk Amino Acids, Soy/Rice Peptides, Sorbitol, Organic Vitamin E Oil, Sodium Lactate, Ceramide Complex, Hyaluronic Acid Oil, Liquid Lanolin, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sorbic Acid, Comfrey Extract, Rose Hip Extract, Calendula Extract, White Willow Bark Extract, Aloe Vera Extract,, Milk Thistle Extract, Chamomile Extract, Capritolin (Natural Preservative)


Like I mentioned before I have a very special project I’ve kept under the covers for a while and I’ll post up the label I just need to finish the information on the project which I’ll do in the next day or two. if some of you are noticing what time I’m posting this it’s because I fell asleep much earlier on the sofa watching TV and I thought I’d get something accomplished while I’m trying to get myself sleepy again. Lol 

If you have any questions about the Rosa Tallow Shave Creme or the whole Rosa collection of products which would be The Shave Soap & Tallow Creme, the Skin Food Splash and  Non Alcohol Lotion along with the new Revitalizing Serum which BTW in my opinion and experience with the added skin benefits of Rose will take all the post shave products to another level. The reason I pretty sure about this is I’ve made a few custom  Hyaluronic Acid Serums with Rose Floral water and Rose Essential Oil. I have one I made for myself which I use whenever I use either my original AOS Rose Shave Creme or my MDC Rose.An I do notice a bit of a difference between it and the Unscented version which BTW is my new formula. Another subject I’ll write about soon.

I have to say that today I'm doing better than yesterday so a good sign I hope that continues but until I see the Dr on Monday I'm still at home as his orders. 


On the Rose Tallow Shave Creme I think that what really helped me make the decision was the input I was getting from my customers. It seems that Rose is a scent that a lot of people apparently associate with the Shave Cream instead of a Soap so I thought why not as I already made a big batch of the new Tallow Shave Creme so I could not only restock the Blue Note that sold out but to also make and release the new Rivello Tallow Shave Creme. So it's pretty simple at this point to put the Rosa together.
