No clue how this price rates, or how good this seller is, but I gotta say: I imagine GEM would be bigger than Gillette today if they had kept detailed razors like this. These heads always impress me.

(If nothing else, it's a good topic change)

Very strategically placed post, good job at the peacekeeping attempt.
    Those are slick looking razors.
Absolutely. My guess is these aren't as smooth as some of the later ones (featherweight, for example). Still, it's hard to deny the Wow-factor. Lol.

As God is my witness, had I the money, would buy this damnable razor and melt it down like the One Ring. Clearly this a numinous object of evil.

Never got the obsession with these as, having possessed a couple of various generations and levels, all were atrocious shavers. But, after all this starting with Cowboys, literally hate them to my core.

Please let this nightmare that has enveloped us all end

Good God man, it is Christmas where a poor Jewish hippy preached a gospel of good will and turning away from cupidity: there is wisdom in that.

Decision made, I'll use one of mine tomorrow Tongue

Gem Blades. This isn't my razor (I'll use the same model tomorrow though) but has a blade in it to see how it sits. Flip the bar up and the tab back (Both circled in red). Load a blade. The Bar holds the front down and the tab pushes it against the blade stops securely. There are Gem Junior with the flip top like all the 1912 models (Star, Gem, Ever Ready) and there are Gem Junior Bars like these.

This one is a favorite of mine.

The seller wants 3600 for a RS10 with only the mild plate.

If you bid on it this person takes it down and then reposts it.

Apparently…the price of this eBay RS10 is $36,000 US.
A bit more than I would want to spend.

That makes no sense. If there's no bidding why did they set it up as an auction. You can set items at a set sale price, without allowing bidding. Something is fishy...

Maybe PayPal protection won't apply for bids, vs purchases? I don't know. Definitely a weird setup, regardless of the crazy price being asked.

He is just trying to inflate the value.
