Tedalus Essence  I have had an ebay saved search on the Essence for many months, and today is the first notification I received.  It has been so many months that I can't remember when I created the search.  This one is BIN for $325 plus $5.50 shipped from Maryland USA.  On Tedaalus.com today, I only saw a $423 USD (366.98 CHF) option, which includes a stand, but which falls short of the Tedalus's free shipping threshold (500 CHF  IIUC).  So there would be some international shipping too.  After about a year, I decided that further resistance was futile, and bought my own Essence direct from Tedalus.  So I have no skin in this particular game, but I will say FWIW that my Essence is among the happiest shave purchases I have made.

How to try to rip off someone else after being ripped off and opened a thread here also reporting the seller's behaviour.

Well and truly, wish this discussion would be closed and deleted.

We have all suffered long and hard over this: the hard feelings and the reputational damage it has caused for members and the forum in general.  For God's sake, can we please make it through the holidays without reliving it?

The majority of PMs I received here when I originally posted about the razor, including some from moderators, said that they thought the seller probably had actually been honest with me, and that I should not have raised a ruckus about the transaction. So I have no hesitation at this point in repeating in my eBay listing exactly what the seller told me - and which he continues to assert is true.

Just for clarity:

I'm not sure what your vague reference to some Mods saying is and by whom but our thoughts about not making a "ruckus" were to not expect us or anyone to fix a problem created by not following Forum Rules and you paying with F&F which took away your recourse you would have had. As far as the other comment, there's a difference in saying a seller may have been honest if they were duped when buying it themselves and the razor actually being authentic. Perhaps you should have stuck with your deleted post instead of this one.

No clue how this price rates, or how good this seller is, but I gotta say: I imagine GEM would be bigger than Gillette today if they had kept detailed razors like this. These heads always impress me.

(If nothing else, it's a good topic change)

Very strategically placed post, good job at the peacekeeping attempt.
    Those are slick looking razors.

Absolutely. My guess is these aren't as smooth as some of the later ones (featherweight, for example). Still, it's hard to deny the Wow-factor. Lol.
