Anyone have this soap or aftershave that can provide any input? Thinking about picking it up but haven't heard too much.

Thanks for any input

i have it and i love it. i was a bit hesitant like you because i was expecting just lavender notes. i was pleasantly surprised by how complex the scent actually is. slowly, the lavender starts to fade a bit to introduce dark, woodsy, ozone notes. i ended up liking the scent so much i also just purchased the EdT.

Pick up the entire FITD line. You will not be disappointed. It just may be my #1 scent. Very, very, intoxicating.

I did a short review of it on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Wetshaving/comm...l_2_vegan/

In short, buy it! It's great!

If Mullen88 loves this stuff, I also may try it.

Great. Coffin wood, exactly the scent I've been missing in my morning shave. Sorry, i'm sure it smells great but coffin wood?

I get a very dry, almost burnt wood scent. It works very well with the natural lavender scent.

Here's what I wrote about this product on another thread.

I recently picked up the shave soap, aftershave, and Eau de Toillette and the scent has knocked my socks off. I'm absolutely taken by the unique smell and longevity of these products. It oozes lavender luxury and something I can't quite put my finger on... but I love it. I'm slightly hesitant to say it's my favourite scent but almost more hesitant to say it's not.

Scent Description:

The scent of lavender with a soothing undertone that is somehow familiar yet unnatural at the same time. After the lavender fades all that remaines is something resembling coffin wood and ozone, a disturbingly pleasant combination.

I have to know, what does ozone smell like? Have I smelled it before and not known?
