i have it and i love it. i was a bit hesitant like you because i was expecting just lavender notes. i was pleasantly surprised by how complex the scent actually is. slowly, the lavender starts to fade a bit to introduce dark, woodsy, ozone notes. i ended up liking the scent so much i also just purchased the EdT.
I did a short review of it on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Wetshaving/comm...l_2_vegan/
In short, buy it! It's great!

Great. Coffin wood, exactly the scent I've been missing in my morning shave. Sorry, i'm sure it smells great but coffin wood?
Here's what I wrote about this product on another thread.
I recently picked up the shave soap, aftershave, and Eau de Toillette and the scent has knocked my socks off. I'm absolutely taken by the unique smell and longevity of these products. It oozes lavender luxury and something I can't quite put my finger on... but I love it. I'm slightly hesitant to say it's my favourite scent but almost more hesitant to say it's not.
Scent Description:
The scent of lavender with a soothing undertone that is somehow familiar yet unnatural at the same time. After the lavender fades all that remaines is something resembling coffin wood and ozone, a disturbingly pleasant combination.
