Can’t escape from AdP if you’re Italian, it’s the law.
So that’s how I paid my dues:

There was enough soap for 1 or 2 more shaves but loading was getting to be more of a hassle and I was just ready to move on.  This one will be repurchased...a great scent with just the right amount of menthol and a great base too!

Today was my last dose of The Veg, which I used as both an after shave (very rough shave, burned like a you-know-what) and an after shower splash:

I have mixed feelings about it.  If I use it too liberally, I can sometimes detect the uric acid aroma that some despise, but sometimes I just think it is my imagination.  I do always get the florals which I quite enjoy.  I find that decanting into glass helps this A/S enormously, and I do that with all my Pinaud products.

So the question becomes do I buy more?  I still have about 2oz. left of Spearhead Shaving's Fleur de France (another floral) which is not a favorite at all, but a heavy geranium scent. Also, it has glycerine in it which I hate in an A/S splash. I should probably plow through that before I buy another floral scent.

What do you all think?

When it comes to shaving, the question isn’t ever either / or, and the answer is always both!

And a glass jar makes all the difference when it comes to Lilac Veg.

Honestly?
You should leave it like that imho, just like I will do with AdP Mirto... (thx for appreciating the pic btw!)
Main reason is because there are sooo many better post shave products nowadays - from a skincare pov.
Unless a deep emotional connection is involved because of scent, I definitely prefer new to vintage in this.

I'm not sure how long this took but the last blades were pulled out and put in line to be used.

Ok, not dusted yet but soon. If experience is any guide this should last about five years  Big Grin  I really like this soap. Both performance and scent and I will miss it when it’s gone.
