When Peter (Scritchnscrub) sent me his new soap to be used in the Movember donation drive, he included an extra tin of soap and told me to keep it. I wasn't expecting this at all! I actually forgot I had the soap in my drawer, to be honest. When I had my last shave, I used this soap and thought it'd be an excellent soap to do a test palm lather with my newly renknotted ever-ready brush that I got back yesterday.

here's how the lather looks after I did a 20-30 second load using a 24mm black synthetic knot, palm lathered and used a TON of water. please note, Peter did not ask me for any type of review!

Peter sent me a tin, as well, and I think it is superb.  Ironically, he tells me he is still tweaking it and is working at getting a totally vegan soap (there is lanolin in this version) that is every bit as good as a tallow based one.  If anyone can do it, it's Scritchnscrub.  I have been singing the praises of his tallow soaps ever since I took a chance on my first one, Lemon Lavender, and now own four. Would be very interested to learn when Peter is planning to make his new soap available for purchase

That is some exemplary lather, happening right there.

I'm honestly not sure. That's a question Peter would have to answer. Hopefully he sees the thread and can respond!

Peter's soaps were/are really good. If/when he makes them available, I'll be pleased to add more to my shelf.

Thanks for the pics, Andrew.

I don't know what Peter's plans are but if one hasn't experienced his soaps but gets the opportunity to do so then I say go for it.

I'm glad I stocked up on Peter's soap when I had the chance. His mossly lime is my favorite.
I'm hoping to get my hands on one of his new soaps. Finger's crossed!
