No worries, I look forward to hearing your thoughts. Did you just get Rockers or have you got Mods as well?

Post: Soap Commander Balm Gusto
I was drawn to this soap for two reasons, first being I am loving soaps with Raspberry in them at the moment, such as Soap Commander Gusto and my custom Dapper Dragon soap Bakewell. Second, I love motorbikes and the scent description pushed those buttons.
First impressions when opening the parcel from Anthony at DeLuxe Shaving were very good, neat packaging, good size 6oz tub with 4oz of soap and a wickedly designed label that just has that raw bad boy look.
When I opened the tub I found that I was greeted by the obvious scent of leather and a touch of fruitiness that comes from the raspberries. I found the leather the most prominent scent of the two but it certainly didn't mask the raspberries. It wasn't until I lathered it that the leather scent softened slightly and the other components such as lemon and vanilla became apparent. I did not detect much dirt but I reckon it still plays a part in the scent I was getting in some way. I really like this scent it reminds me of a lot of things, all good, however I would have liked it if the leather was very slightly weaker and the raspberries slightly stronger. All in all I think Anthony has hit the nail on the head with what he was trying to achieve, an attractive scent with that little bit of ruff we all crave and makes us feel manly.
The soap is a fantastic performer, it produced a very rich yogurt like lather in not time. It felt good on the face and very protective. Where I thought it really shined was how slick it was, during my rinse between passes the slickness was really evident due to the ease my fingers would move across my face. I am super impressed with every aspect of the soaps performance. Even the post shave was good and I could have not used a balm if I didn't want to.
A small tip for those that get this soap. Source yourself some Soap Commander Gusto balm - These two products work incredibly well together.
A great soap which I will be intrigued to see grow with new scents in the future. Rockers does have a sibling...Mods. If you check out the story on line it's a cool concept, I maybe regretting not buying this soap as well. I would recommend this soap to anyone, I think with the great performance and a scent which is hard not to like this will be a winner.

I agree that Anthony has done a great job in defining his market niche and I am a big fan of the branding. From the looks the performance lives up to expectation as well.
Thanks again Oli.
