I am anxious to watch the TV version, but dreading it as well. I don't want "my" characters to change. So maybe I won't watch. I enjoy the audio books, too. But sometimes it makes want to keep driving past work, just to get to a better place to stop!

I’m a little nervous about the TV version. I’ll let my daughter watch it and see what she thinks before I decide what to do. I’ve not been generally impressed with tv/movie interpretations. Case in point, the Altered Carbon trilogy by Richard K. Morgan is in my opinion a masterpiece but the Netflix series was, again in my opinion, trash. I don’t think I made it through the first episode.

DecemBOAR! 13 -- Tuesday Evening Edition

Razor: Gillette Tech
Blade: Gillette Nacet
Brush: Omega 49
Soap: Stirling Soap Co. - Stirling Noir
A/S: Skin Bracer

"Life events" kept me from shaving since Saturday. Enjoyed a much needed mowing. First use of Stirling Noir. If you are hoping for Drakkar, you will have to search elsewhere. I'm a little sad not to be transported back to the scent from high school (until Antaeus came out). These kids today with their Axe . . . Now get off my lawn.

Mad I hate it when the juvenile male has to spray them all to see which one brings females flocking to him. Instead, he has created a noxious cloud that malodorously lingers almost as long as the half-life of a Twinkie!

I sometimes wish those young guys would wear axe or something!  I'm retired so I generally go to the gym sometime between 10:30 AND 2:00 but last week I didn't get in until about 3:45 so there were lots of high school kids there as there is a high school right across the street.  Man, the stench of dirty unwashed gym clothes and dirty unwashed young males.  I dont know what the deal is but when I was in high school we were actually self aware enough to not want to stink and if we did, our buddies would make sure we knew about it and showered.  While I'm not a fan of Axe, I'll take it over that any day.  now...get off my lawn too.

Trotter Handcrafts Oscuro with boar. This knot is going to need some breaking in. It didn’t lather all that well. I’m glad I went with two spacers to give the brush some loft because it’s got a fair amount of backbone and I think may have been a bit too stiff if it were fully seated.
