Will Rogers famously never met a man he didn't like, but he probably never shaved with a rose forward soap.  Who knows how things might have turned out if he had?  My Passiflora sample is due today, iso barring a hold up, it will be on deck for Thu-Rose-day tomorrow.

Thanks for the review Dave, you saved me a few $$ on a soap sample. I was curious about this scent, but Rose forward isn't what I was hoping for at all. I expected fruit, spice, minor floral rounding it out.

Knowing nothing about autostrop razors, I was all onboard with the Wizamet comment. See, I learned something about a razor today.

Wonder if you could borrow the old 'the more you know' graphic for your videos? They're often quite informative (at least for me). Lol.

Rose??  I have a tub of the original and I don’t get any rose off of it. Zero rose to my nose. I’m hoping that Will hasn’t modified the scent because that would be a crime along the same lines as changing the scent of Hallows or Leviathan.  Pitchforks and torches time for sure.

Well Rose is one of the notes and that's what I'm getting strong but I seem to be the only one so it may just be me as I said being an outlier.

For sure, and we all know it - EVERYONE has different interpretations of scent. My wife thinks Fahrenheit smells like turpentine LOL. But she is right in her own interpretation. Unfortunately I can't wear it when she is home. Real bummer.

I can't detect any rose in my newly purchased Passiflora. I get a fruit forward floral with some bite [green/herbal] in it to keep it from being overly sweet. And I am a rose-a-pile, so if there was any it wouldn't have hurt my feelings. There must be some tuberose or white floral accord that Davey is keen on or tuned to.

The inner-web has some very inerstin concepts on smell - and it is really poorly understood. I think covid [my wife & i save has it twice inspire of Dubl vaxx/boosters] screwed my wife's nose up. She thinks coffee smells like baloney - it could be me

I do get a strong passion fruit from it which I like. It’s clearly got some floral obviously (passiFLORA) but it’s balanced to my no because I can’t pick out any specific flower. I’d be bummed if my morning coffee started smelling like baloney.
