Oh, That WILL happen. Still on the slow trip from France  Big Grin

EDIT - It hit Knoxville early this morning already. Quickest I've ever got anything from France. I was a little concerned after the brush lot debacle that came from there totally damaged after 3 months.

AS 2: ETHOS Dragonsbeard Skin Food Splash
Fragrance: ETHOS Dragonsbeard EDP
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1177

So I got this razor in a recent Lot Purchase hoping for another razor but the one I hunted ended up being a duplicate rather than a different model, so that one has been sold now. This though was an unexpected bonus in the Lot and I'm happy to add another E Injector to the stable in the Imperial Set Case. Not impossible to find but rarer than most cased examples. These were generally gifts apparently as most have a name engraved into the handle. Thanks "Zane Prize" for keeping this one in great shape. Off to a long work day today but will have tomorrow off to burn the hillside down as another slight dusting of snow is expected. Have a great day everyone !

Razor: Daisy Safety Razor
Blade: Heavily Modified Gem Blade
Brush: Jayaruh #303
Soap: ETHOS Vanilla Safi

AS 2: Winter Reserve Small Batch Shave Tonic
Fragrance: ETHOS Dragonsbeard EDP
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1178

Well the RWNN Razor gets a name now as I found it accidentally in Waits Compendium. It is the Daisy Safety Razor with a patent applied for in 1906 and issued in 1911. It takes some heavy modifying of a Gem blade by removing the spin and using metal nips to narrow the width of the blade to fit. Comes out a snug fit but usable as this is the 2nd time I've used this razor. Mine may be an earlier make of it as my box does not have the name on it under the picture as seen in Waits' picture. Nor does mine have the engraving of the name on it as can be seen comparing Waits' pics versus mine. Only engraving on mine is "PAT NOV 14,1911" If this was marketed for women, I see why it didn't last. It's an aggressive razor for sure and I can't pcture this doing well in the curve of their armpits. With care it can yield a smooth and comfortable shave which is what this morning was for me. Glad to have this piece of history in the den and need to do a video with it if I haven't yet..........Off to burn brush on the hillside today. Have a great day and weekend Everyone !

Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1179

This was my Fuzzy/Fluffy shave...........Fuzzy supplied the E Injector razor and Fluffy the Custom Brush handle. I'm enjoying this Gin and Tonic sample and thinking I need to get a full tub. Debating if I want it "On the Rocks" with menthol or plain and add cooling agents when I want the coolness stepped up..........decisions, decisions. Hope all enjoy their weekend !!

Yeah, that happens here too. I get up and look outside and think “dang, I could have sworn I just cleared that stuff yesterday.” I guess it’s a gift like those whiskers that keep coming back giving you another opportunity to chase that perfect shave.  Happy2
