My bulldog combination set came with these blade cases which are not in the best shape.  They are smooth all around with the Gillette logo on the cap.  The razor serial number dates it to 1920.  I hope this is what you were looking for, Dave.

Thanks, mine is earlier and would have been the matching cardboard boxes I believe. Mine was missing when acquired.

I see! The silver plated model came with blade boxes that matched the case. Mine is number 17G.
