Well Dave, at least you got your priorities straight. Coffee is the equivalent of the oxygen masks that drop from the ceiling of the airliner in a depressurization - fill up because you’re no good to anyone if you can’t even help yourself.

Always an adventure. I just read a quote, Scandinavian - “There’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.”

**this doesn’t apply to driving in bad weather. In that case quote should read “there’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad judgment.”

Glad to see you "adapt and overcome" Dave.  We didn't go without power here. So no coffee hardships. I have been known to use my coleman "white fuel" stove. In a pinch.
But since about 15 years ago. When BGE changed out a rather large pole and transformer nearby my row-home. We rarely loose electric.

Thanks Ken !We lost power ALL the time when the lines ran along the back of everyone's property thru the trees. 2 years ago they ran all new lines up the road on the front of the property's so it's much rarer. That said this is a wet and HEAVY snow. Heard some trees up on the hill behind us snap, crackle, pop and drop.......more to clean up. Just glad they're far enough back they can't reach the homestead.
