Lost power at 1:30am. Don't know what our snow total was till daylight. Just hoping power comes back before I gotta get the generator out and powered up.......they estimated power back on by 8am if that holds........

Hope you get back on the grid soon! otherwise you may have to break out that big ol' jug by the fireplace to keep warm!

Seriously, with all the snow, ice storms, and cars hitting utility poles, we are sooo thankful our builder talked us into getting a generator. The Home Despot had 2 on close out (older models, less computer savvy) and he and I each bought one. Came in handy during thunderstorms, too!

Hope you stay warm and safe! I am leaving early for work, and it is just starting to lightly snow here. 6-10" with wind and rain expected. I think it depends whether you are coastal or near the western mountains. We are central, so usually get biting cold and wind!

Be safe out there Eric. Still coming down here. I'm not a prepper but I like to be prepared and have everything we need to survive so we'll be fine. I just want power for coffee without breaking out the camp stove and percolator.....still snowing here

Yikes. I hope power comes back soon for you Dave. When Mother Nature starts messing with the coffee, it's too far.
