Hope you get back on the grid soon! otherwise you may have to break out that big ol' jug by the fireplace to keep warm!
Seriously, with all the snow, ice storms, and cars hitting utility poles, we are sooo thankful our builder talked us into getting a generator. The Home Despot had 2 on close out (older models, less computer savvy) and he and I each bought one. Came in handy during thunderstorms, too!
Hope you stay warm and safe! I am leaving early for work, and it is just starting to lightly snow here. 6-10" with wind and rain expected. I think it depends whether you are coastal or near the western mountains. We are central, so usually get biting cold and wind!
