Used the D Injectah today after using the F yesterday. Obvious different handle feel but no issues holding and maneuvering it. I compared the heads and while the F head is bigger the blade gap and exposure seemed identical to my eye. Even so compared to yesterday's shave there in my view is more blade feel for certain in comparison. Still a smooth shave but it definitely feels more aggressive than the F........at least that's my experience with my 2 models (F and D) Can't stop feeling my face as I got a phenomenally close shave. So happy to have this new addition to the collection. Yesterday was some more log clearing on the hillside with these trees all intertwined like a giant game of pick up sticks. Slow going so as not to get pinned while cutting on a steep slope and the new saw is a dream to use. Hoping to get back on the hillside this afternoon but just to burn some branches and limbs so The Woodsman with it's smokey almost ash like scent was a good pick. Thanks again Rob ExtraProtein  Have a swell day everyone !!

Great write up, Dave! Glad you are careful with the pick up stick trees. My Dad lumberjacked in the 50s and a new guy on the crew felled a tree without checking out the area and without yelling a warning. Dad has 2 vertebrae pinched in his neck from that mishap. Make sure your boss is practicing safety first! (I know you say your boss can be a jerk, lol!)

Edit: these last 2 injector shaves sound fantastic! and the razors themselves look, I don't know, retro-future, if that is a thing?!!

I concur. Be smart out there. Back in my working days one of  my responsibilities was EH&S. handling fatal accident investigations was a big part of the safety work. We used a lot of slashers to do the necessary hand cutting before the big felling equipment could come in to clear leases and roads.  Felling is very hazardous work. Especially when guys cut corners and use unsafe practices like the domino felling technique- find a big tree, line it up with a bunch of smaller trees and pre-cut those then drop the big tree onto the pre cut trees taking them all down at once. Increases the risk of snags and hang ups. Also a problem if there’s poor communication and you drop the big tree onto your cousin who was sitting down having a coffee after doing the precuts. What a mess.

Not my cousin.  Dumb as a box of rocks.  He wouldn't notice the difference.

To be clear, I believe Dave knows what he's doing. I was trying to jest about his "boss," not badger him (see how I snuck that in on a shaving forum?!) about how he does the work. I hope we aren't coming across as preachy to you, Dave!

This time of year here, with icy parking lots, driveways, and sidewalks, that is great advice! I have almost perfected the penguin shuffle, so as to keep my feet below my keester instead of on the same level!

Glad you like the new saw there Dave. We have over the years gone from the older Stihl saws that were what I am used to using. To the new safety feature rich. Plasticized/lighter electronic ones. Not really a fan of them here. As maintenance/repair is now not as inexpensive and easy.  So I'm not going to get rid of my 70's era Stihl saws. For personal use. The county turds are their problem. When they start acting up it's off to the shop now. I don't mess with them other than cleaning and sharpening them.  But the kids at work are not very skilled at using them. So that is the big reason they end up having issues. It's not the new designs fault dumbass's can't run em and take care of them correctly.

I agree. For me, Schick type D was way more aggressive than all the other injectors I've had. After 5 or more test shaves, it was evident that it's out of my taste. So I got rid of it. Type F was similar to type E in terms of aggressivness.
