Cool handle name Dave. I always wanted to learn how do that trick on my skateboards. Now I’m too old and would probably pull or break something Smile

It would be awesome if the owners named all the Trotter handles made from wood. I was boring back then and always just referred to them as the type of wood used. I only started naming handles after I switched to resin (as far as I can remember)… and wood handles are no longer being made! I’d venture to guess only about 25 wood handles are out there in the Wild. (Eric owns a sizable stake. Lol)

Nice looking setup there Dave! Have a great day.

Hey, I resemble that remark!  Tongue

I think the vast, vast majority of my brushes are from your shop, Paul, and I am very pleased indeed! I believe I moved 2-3 of the wooden handles on, donating to DanLaw's "charity" to help out those shavers in need due to life's catastrophes. This week, I am trying to use only the wooden handles. Today was the cocobolo wood with 2BED knot. But now I have been challenged to name them! Boy, creativity needed! I'll give it some thought, as well as make a list, and see what I can come up with.

And Dave, I may need help understanding how a skateboard move relates to the handle! I call mine "striped," but I hope to do better than that now!

Looking forward to what you come up with for names! It's harder than you think!

Skateboards are made with wood laminations, just like those multi-layer colored birch handles.
