(This post was last modified: 09-25-2021, 10:40 AM by Dave in KY.)
Saturday SEptember 25, 2021
Razor: Weck Med Prep Safety
Blade: Personna
Brush: Trotter Handcraft DSotM (Dark Side of the Moon)
Soap: Signature Hibernia
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Proraso Green Splash
Fragrance:
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1,053

Wonderful shave with the Med Prep which clears the whiskers with fewer strokes due to the wide swath it cuts. The Hibernia on 1st use was a pleasure to use. Nice medium scent strength which allows you to enjoy the scent without it over powering and being a distraction. Easy to load and not shy of water. It yields a great lather that is creamy and slick. This is a winner for me. 25th day of SEptember and just 5 more SE shaves to go. Clearly I will run out of days in the month before I run out of Vintage SE razors. This has been such a fun month I am considering selling my prized Vector SB and OC Razor...........time will tell. Have a great weekend everyone !!

Love that soap  - some of the most enjoyable parts of my working career were spent working on the Hibernia Offshore Oil Project offshore Newfoundland.  While I never actually made it out to the platform, it was still a blast .  Good times, working on something meaningful, bringing prosperity to a region that needed it and energy to the world...

Cool Mark and yes it's a nice scent. Pastuer's has more on the way to them but glad I got this off the BST here.

Good stuff here, as always!

WHAT!! Sell the Vector????

Tongue

It is still the razor I want so bad to love to work for me. But alas, either it or I was found lacking. Lol.

As the GEM guru that I know, what is your opinion of the GEM Contour? I have a lead on one at the Bay, and have read it is considered mild, which is my preference. I need more razors now, as my brushes have multiplied and the razors feel left out, ha!

Never to send a Contour bit have heard the same about it. Still LOVE the Vector but enamoured with my many vintage that shave just as well and hate for it to just sit. May sell the Titanium Blackbird too........

Since the Ti 'bird is heading for or already unavailable, make sure to mark it up accordingly.

just joking, based on the thread earlier this week!  I am so glad the majority of the folks here are not that way. You have been so very generous, both in sharing stuff and pricing, both Paul's have sent stuff for free, and Ken has even gifted me with a one of a kind, hand made handle. So please know I am trying to have a laugh at price gauging, knowing our main brotherhood is about more than money making.
