What an interesting article (OK, an advertisement!). So many fun things in that paragraph! And the wooden man! I take it that the wooden man is some sort of of automaton, like all the old Christmas movies show those moving dolls and toys in the store windows.

Just think, your shave count means that you would have needed at least two of these kits!

Thanks for sharing this with us!

Of course it’s animatronic Eric. If you looked closely in the Disney “Pirates of the Caribbean “ ride.
There was one (auto strop man) behind and to the left of the “Drunken First Mate”.

IDK, I think wooden man is kinda creepy. Too many “B” horror movies I guess.

The cream was gifted me by Jody and was a nice cream to use. Good protection and slickness with a pleasant scent. Thanks @IamtheJody  No Open Comb today but will be using a fair amount this month of OCtober. Got the ER Shovelhead in when a youtube viewer asked how it compares to the 1912. Had a great shave and glad to have it but it tends to hold water in the cap when you rinse it and runs down your face. Even that aside  prefer the shave of the 1912. Both great razors and won't go wrong with either but 1912 for me is the preference. Find out for yourself which "floats your boat." Crummy boss making me work a Friday to get ahead for camping beginning of November. Have a great day Everyone !!

A Contour! On deck for tomorrow morning.

Hey Dave, in the new Compendium you have in the Shave Library, does it have any neato info on the Contour? The best I could find was over at the Ban and Boot site, and it was a chart giving production years. Just curious if the Tome of Shaving Knowledge has anything on these, given they aren't as vintage as the cool stuff you find!
