TOTALLY unexpected gift from a friend in Maryland. Founder of "Fluffy Industries" Ken has found a way to circumvent my defense system of knowing when deliveries are inbound. He has resorted to using UPS to avoid the USPS "Informed Delivery" system notifications. Our defense team is seeking a solution to the hole in the system. His cleverness has yielded a nice Shave Brush Handle as well. Some checking with calipers shows the taper allows for a 24 - 32 mm Knot to be used giving it a universal/adjustable knot size selection option. Shown for display purposes with a 26mmTuxedo that has been waiting for me to install in another handle. BIG thanks to Ken for the nice surprise. It will be kept and used with fond memories of the creator.

You are most welcome Dave. The taper/bell does let the handle accept most popular size knots. The smaller knots may not retain the wanted loft. If set in far enough to have the hairs resting against the rim/lip of the opening. Glad you like it.
Todays project was a boot stretcher (width).  I was shaving wood instead of whiskers.  Seems to work pretty well. Not pretty but functional.

Great video Dave. I saw this and have been curious about it. The head sort of resembles the Rocnel Sailor.. minus the rounded top and blade bend. Maybe it’s just the upward reaching safety bars that brought it to mind.

Keep us posted!

F plate provided a smooth easy shave. I don't see it any more efficient than the D Plate but is still smooth. Not really necessary for me as a daily shaver since it doesn't bring any more efficiency. Have a great day Everyone !!
