Paul mrdoug was right I was daydreaming about the Greenfresh some as I looked forward to it but still saved the best for me for last tomorrow............ Dragonsbeard
Yea!
Greenfresh is on deck for me for tomorrow. Love that stuff!
So, can I ask your opinion on the Stirling Synth? I've seen it used a lot, and it's dirt cheap. I think Freddy has been regularly using one for years and year. How is the head? Looks like a Maggards type Black and white, which would be medium backbone and a great all around brush. Curious if that's the case. I think one might fall in my cart soon, their cheap enough to try. Don't tell Rod, but I might have to buff off that Stirling name. The placement, at least in pictures, irks my OCD.
One day closer to the weekend. Have a good Thursday Dave!
I have several Stirling synthetics and like them all. However, the one you reference has one of the most comfortable interesting looking handles around. I agree with Dave that you've described the knot pretty well. As for the Stirling name and its placement, I just love most Stirling products so am quite happy to have the name on it and where it is located. The only other logical place would be on the base of the handle. Actually,
ezlovan's Stirling tree is so recognizable that perhaps just that on the base would be enough (and I think sort of classy
). Any thoughts on that, Rod and Mandy?
