My other thought is that if your congregation has any members planning travel to the EU. They might bring some some back for you. The same solution that I lucked out in acquiring it in the first place. Shot in the dark, without tracers or NVG’s

Or if someone here or elsewhere knows people that run WCS or Maggards etc. Maybe they could get the CHH added to an order being shipped ground/cargo by boat. The big sticking point is flammable products aren’t allowed in the hold of an aircraft. So shipping is limited that way.

Yea Dave. But if the TSA or Customs goes through your bags and finds aftershave. They don’t put on rubber gloves and play proctologist.  Rolleyes
So it’s easier to find mules  for our purposes.

Great idea Fluffy, and great ideas are often problematic, so that's no surprise.   To my mind, the likeliest bet is one you mentioned - finding a willing vendor.  And so, for any vendor that might read this, I'd also be in for a bottle or two, and up front if that's what greases the wheels.

Razor : 3d Printed Lather Catcher by twhite
Blade : Gem (2)
Brush: Trotter Handcrafts/Maggards Synthetic
Soap: Derby Citronella Candle
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Vintage Aqua Velva
Fragrance:

So the Fluffy express (UPS) delivered the soap in record time and it was used with the 3D printed lather catcher on video which is uploading as I write this. The soap was very much like Arko in decent lather but not quite as drying post shave as I remember the Arko being. As far as scent, it's nearly a dead ringer for Arko which I find a synthetic lemon pledge/citronella kind of mix. Not a big deal but certainly not something I'd like to reach for regularly. This will get posted today or tomorrow to Mr Mike HighSpeed for him to use and write a little something about his take on it. And to post in the thread in the Soap section. https://damnfineshave.com/thread-fluffy-...-box-derby
Have a great day everyone !!

WARNING - Picture Heavy Post
So I had some time today to work on the Raised Flat Bottom Gillette with the broken tooth. Just to remind what it looked like when I got it. The seller was kind enough to send the broken tooth in case I want to try and braze it back together but I was going a different route.

So I took it to the bench grinder first to gently knock it down quickly. Then on to some filing work to even things out and get it uniform as well as take off the sharp edges. Then some sanding with wet/dry paper just up to the 2,000 grit that I had on hand. I'm VERY please with how it turned out and imagine this is going to get a Nickel re-plate eventually.
And here she is now maybe the 1st ever Gillette Raised Flat Bottom SE Razor........

WOW!!

Very slick, and very clever too.  FWIW it looks to me, too, like something worthy of a replate.
