Amen, Paul does some awesome work. Great looking choice with the brown synth.

I've always liked the look of the Gems on a standard DE handle. With all of the intricacies in the razor head, I imagine that would look stunning with a CG Maze or similarly detailed handle.

Have a great day too, and do try to avoid that ER! Lol.

Awesome Dave! Thanks so much for sharing. That knot really goes well with the color in the handle. Enjoy!

Good work on the Ruskie juice Dave.  Might have to get to work looking for a “mule” to get some more of the CHH Tobacco. And also some Tabac Craftsman and Firepower AS stateside.  Still can’t believe places like West Coast don’t get the whole tabac line. Oh well.
Good luck with the wiring be careful buddy.

Nice skateboard inspired brush Dave. The tobacco as looks interesting, is it actually a Russian one? I'm freaking next door to Russia, but we don't see much from there here at all. Nothing that I haven't seen on US forums first.

Speaking of not hearing of, I don't know of any Avon anything here. I've never seen any of our locals post anything Avon related either. Must be down south from us.

Not skateboard inspired... but I do love skateboarding. I ride almost every day. Maybe some influence snuck in there subconsciously.

I've had more than 1 person ask about the wood. Apparently someone in Canada I think glues together skateboards with laminated wood and makes brushes. I keep telling people it's laminated wood blanks that are purchased and turned.

Razor: Schick G "66"
Blade: Schick (?)
Brush: Saponificio Varesino Cocobolo
Soap: Palmolive
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Palmolive Splash
Fragrance: Tom Ford Grey Vetiver

Continuing with my Vintage SE focus for the week and pulled my Schick G "66" razor which just gives a phenomenal shave. The Palmolive soap provide a nicely scent lather and the splash completed things except for the TF Grey Vetiver which was the cherry on the Sundae. Have a great day guys !!

Very nice looking razor and brush, Dave! I like the textured look to the head of the razor. Do you have any Type E razors? I was reading BBS-1's posts on B&B (he also has them on Shave Den too) regarding Type E and a variant that had "ridges" on the bar to help stretch the skin, I think. The shaves I have had and the posts I've read had me searching eBay for vintage Schicks! Like I need more! Also, posted my misadventures in my Journal. Hope your day goes well and thanks for the comment on boars.
