I was reading BBS-1's posts on B&B (he also has them on Shave Den too) regarding Type E and a variant that had "ridges" on the bar to help stretch the skin, I think. The shaves I have had and the posts I've read had me searching eBay for vintage Schicks! Like I need more! Also, posted my misadventures in my Journal.  Hope your day goes well and thanks for the comment on boars.

Thanks Eric ! No I've never used an E that I know of. Yes I've read some of his descriptions of the variants until my head hurts. They all are similar enough that I don't care that much. I'm not a collector but rather a user so I don't care to search for some rare or obscure version...........other than my F Type which is obvious what it is. I just see to much debating over distinguishing miniscule differences as pointless, but that's just me. Some thrive on it which is great for them.

Thanks Chris. Soap is just a pleasant soap smell although not typical. Can't place it. The splash to me is similar to Skin Bracer without any menthol and toned down powderiness.

Waiting on ZOOM for a funeral in PA to start. Not family and been out of touch for decades but a dear family friend to my family. See you around
