Just Here for the Shaves
Williamsburg, KY
Monday February 22, 2021
Razor: Yates 921 "H"
Blade: Wizamet (3)
Brush: Grizzly Bay Oumo SHD
Soap: Lakewood Sweet Orange Chili Pepper
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Nivea 2 into 1 Splash
Fragrance: Guerlain Vetiver

Aaaah, what a relaxing and enjoyable shave. The star of the shave today was the working drain in the sink Big Grin Okay, enough of that. It appears I have 1 or maybe 2 shaves left with the SOCP after today. I must say it is a great soap and scent but I'm glad to see it get completed. I pulled a bunch I need to put in the BST when I get time and have 2 new ones coming from Hub City as well as any day ordering the Collaboration DFS/Ethos Colonia so I'm done buying soaps for awhile. Also, Charlie contacted me and is Pifing me a 2019 TSD Blood on Steel soap. Such generous people among us in our communities we should be thankful for. No more 3017 or 1508.5's for me in the foreseeable future. I can see a mini/1 week focus on a soap sometimes, but I want/need the variety back in my shaves. Great shave with the Yates H and smelling good enough to.......................go to work on a rainy day. Have a GREAT day everyone !!

Hey, it's always a great day when the indoor plumbing is working. Lol.

You sir are braver than I. No way I'm gonna 3017 any soap. If I like it, I cherish it... If I don't, it goes.

Have a wonderful day Dave!

I'll tell you what Eric, I'll load for between 30 seconds to a minute and take a pic of the lather. There's easily one more shave there and probably two but not worth the second one. I plan on running it to the finish so I don't have any naysayers saying I quit early LOL. There's always one of them in the crowd.....
