I’ve seen a lot of SOTD’s popping up with this new artisans soaps and I haven’t heard anything negative thus far in the few comments I’ve read about it. Is anyone here using this brand and can they give some thoughts on the formulation and shave quality? The base looks extensive and I’m a sucker as soon as I see duck fat in anything...

I currently have two Cutting Edge Soaps in my den and they are among by top performers. The soap is a little on the thirsty side but provides an a exceptional shave and would liken it to grooming department tallow soaps. My favorite is Calm which is a blend of lavender, rosemary and mint. It reminds me Czech and Speake Oxford and Cambridge but I prefer the performance of cutting edge.

I have 2 tubs and I'm here to say the soap is top tier on all levels. You will not be disappointed.

I've been using it mainly with straights and am really impressed. Super slick, in my top tier for soaps without a doubt.

Gave this soap a first run on the face today and it was absolutely phenomenal. Excellent in every metric with a great texture and great post shave. Highly recommend.

Well, I for one, am quite upset. Had no idea dfoulk was pursuing soapmaking thus missed out on the introduction of this. Contacted him immediately upon learning he was the man behind the curtain. Getting a sample just to be sure it doesn’t light me up. Based on what I know of dfoulk’s knowledge of soap, expect him to expand my soap suppliers to 3!

So looking foreward to this!!!
