I ordered my SS on Xmas day and received it yesterday, Impressive fast shipping. The hype was true this is a very smooth, easy to handle SE that gave me a DFS in 2 passes. Glad I got one. Definitely one of the BEST Bang for Your Buck razors out there.

Absolutely. I agree 100% with your statement on bang for your buck razors. I can only think of only one other artisan manufacturer besides Colonial Razors that produces high quality razors at extremely reasonable pricing, RazoRock. What they are providing is excellent value for our hard earned money. Colonial just gets it. Quality made product, with quality pricing and exceptional customer service. These 2 merchants are the "Kings" of under promise and over deliver. My hats off to them.....

Hi Rawfox,

We are ordering another SS batch on monday. We expect to stock in early to mid February.

We are currently awaiting our next DE prototypes. The last version shaved amazingly efficient yet with comfort. I think others will enjoy it once it's ready for sale. Hoping early 2018. More to come as we near closer!

Regards,

Kyle

Looking forward to your new DE release in 2018. I’m sure it’s going to be another great offering from your line of products. If I may ask, will it be a 3 piece design and what will it be made of, brass, stainless, copper etc? Thanks....

Our first prototypes were in aluminum. Our next prototypes will be in a bronze bead blast finish. It is an 18th century design concept so that's why we chose an older material style (like bronze) to assess. Still in the assessment phase so nothing is written in stone yet.

Looking forward to the new DE. However, had my first shave this morning with the SS using a Proline P-30 blade. Absolutely fantastic shave. I switched handles to a Timeless Ti to reduce weight. Works very well. No matter the head is the secret to this razor.

I swung by the office today to pick up my new SS General. It’s a beauty. I bought it because I borrowed the aluminum version from a friend, and liked it very much. My go-to AC blade razors are the Asylum RX and ATT SE2, but I really enjoyed the aluminum General as a smoother razor, yet only slightly less efficient. I look forward to taking the stainless General for its first spin tomorrow.

I missed this latest SS release but will be a buyer for the next batch. I own two of the AL editions and love them.

I got mine yesterday and will use it tomorrow mornings no with a Feather Super blade. That’s the blade I use in my brass General.
