Coming Soon in 316L!
Hello All,

We are writing to you now with much excitement and we hope you share in our excitement once you read why we are emailing you now. Since the release of The General in aluminum, we have been asked by many customers when are we going to release it in stainless steel. We knew in order to remain more competitive in the Artist Club single edge market, we needed to release a stainless steel version.

Today, we are proud to unveil to you all The General in 316L stainless steel! This version of The General weighs approximately 123 grams. It has been a joy to use over the last few days and believe many will enjoy it as well.

Over the past few months, we have followed threads on the shaving forums about the brass version and how many would like to see a knurled handle from us. Prior to releasing the 316L version, we have asked our machine shop to provide us a new handle design for assessment. This new handle will be 12.20 mm diameter, 85 mm long, and have a diamond knurled portion. If the knurled handle passes our inspection, all 316L stainless steel razors will be released with this handle.

When you look at the stainless steel artist club razor market, most razors are priced at $185+ and do not provide a better shave than The General. Our 316L version will be priced at an incredible $59.99 + shipping.

We expect to release this version in mid to late September and hope to earn your business! We will send out updates through this newsletter as we near the official release.

Kind Regards,

Kirk and Kyle Evans

Super excited! The Aluminum General was the reason I started moving away from straight razors. The smoothness and sharpness were quite shocking at first!

Yes, they mentioned their plans on FB in the past. I can't recall the time frame.

Yes, we do have plans to bring a DE to market in 2018. We have significantly tweaked the ornamental design from the original concept and need to tweak the shave again.

It will be a sleek design and an affordable option. Our plan is to release it in a heavier metal version to start.

Not to change up the thread or hi-jack it. Is the DE project going to be made of SS? And will it be offered in an open comb or straight bar configuration? Or perhaps both? And non-adjustable? Sorry for the long question....

We are considering three materials: bronze, brass, or 316L SS. We are leaning more towards bronze currently since no mass produced razor in bronze exists on the market today and it would give it a unique personality compared to the competition. The design will be symbolic to our passion for 18th century American history. Smile

It will be a safety bar and non adjustable.
