It is cheaper in the soap just like it is cheaper in my products: the TSM Fougère scent is VERY expensive

Just picked up Unconditional Surrender, hope to get some of your aftershaves soon. I am figuring out which aftershave ingredient (No CL) is giving me small breakouts... Seems to be alcohol or witch hazel. After I figure out I'm doing a big purchase from CL!

Well, since this was a huge diabolical plan by hawns to make me buy more stuff. I went and ordered a bunch of toner samples from his site. So now I also have six samples coming in, as well as the two tubs of soap from L&L. (shakes fist angrily, or at least mildly perturbed)

Still some L&L jars available 2 hours in.

I was checking earlier but I now see Shawn has all the provisions in their new packaging up on the Chatillon Lux site. Smile

Yeah, we went about three times as much as we had ever done for a LE soap run and five times as much as we did for the first Champs de Lavande run. Let's just say we've learned some lessons along the way

Just got back from the gym and bought my L&L Grooming Unconditional Surrender soap. Aptly named - describes my approach to buying shaving stuff generally and CL stuff specifically. I can stop any time I want to....seriously

Unfortunately the fragrance I use for TSM Fougère is very, VERY expensive.

And the Unconditional Surrender the same fragrance formula as is used in my products, as well, so hopefully it matches up well

The TSM Fougere soap is definitely worth the premium.

Kind of a question for Shawn...and I will say I haven't done much reading on the subject - is the toner supposed to be more like a balm than a liquid? Or, perhaps a better way to inquire would be: what is the difference between the toner and the AS?

I have almost every post shave product Shawn has made in toner, aftershave and balm. I can tell you as a user that there is very little difference on the face between toner and aftershave. The aftershave has a bit of alcohol in it and will give you just a bit of the burn whereas the toner won't. Both are liquids and not balm or cream although you can see a little bit more thick stuff in the toner before shaking. Honestly, if I were doing a blind test, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Well, maybe the burn if I had a rougher shave. I like to use the toner in the winter and the aftershave in the summer as the toner may be just a tad more conditioning, maybe.
