I have completed everything on Shawn's website.. lol! Except Colbeck. I'm assuming Colbeck doesn't have too much of a scent, just the scent of gin? is that correct?

Colbeck is scented with juniper, cardamom, coriander, citrus peel, anise and nutmeg to replicate the botanicals in gin.

Catalan's Prairie (Limited Edition)

This was one of the original three scents I made nearly two years ago (damn, time flies). It was one of names (along with Vide Poche) that St. Louis proper called Carondolet, which eventually became South STL City, due to its Spanish population.

It is a floral scent with deeper undertones, featuring violet, jasmine, freesia, lavender, labdanum and sandalwood.

Unconditional Surrender Eau de Toilette

This is a second run of our EdT cologne. I ran out of stock as my original amber accord supplier dried up. So I made my own amber accord and am quite pleased with how it turned out, specially blended for the cologne.

Beard Oil

It's winter, so it's beard season. While many people treat our post-shave salve as a beard balm, those with longer beards prefer something lighter that provides some hold and conditioning, but less shine and a little lighter. So the beard oil includes an argan oil base, which I love in my hair, along with jojoba oil, avocado oil, hemp seed oil, vegetable glycerin, sodium lactate and polysorbate 20. It will come in an unscented version and in Fourth & Pine scent.

Lastly, in a little bit of housekeeping, I will be out of town visiting family from December 23-26. I'll be back home later in the day on the 27th and will start getting caught up then while preparing for the Bon Vivant EdT, which comes out on New Year's Eve.

My forwarder lost my Unconditional Surrender aftershave. Maybe someone there liked the scent too much.

It's not Shawn's fault at all, and yet when he found out, he sympathized and offered me a discount coupon. That was very nice of him and I really appreciate that.

My forwarder is clearly to blame, they have received all items, opened the box to take pictures but delayed sending it due to congestion and now something was lost.  

I wouldn't be using the coupon that Shawn gave me, but I am definitely more of a fan now than I was before.

Just wanted to share with the community what a decent gent he is.

Coldbeck is my favorite scent from CL. I would buy a matching soap if one was ever made. Marvelous scent and so refreshing on the skin.
