Glad you got in on it! Everything is sold out now. Thanks to everyone who picked up Catalan's Prairie
Received Catalan's Prairie on Saturday afternoon. Since I typically shave in the morning, I was able to try it out on Christmas Day. Fantastic work hawns ! My only complaint is that because it's not a regular in your line-up, I'll have to use this one sparingly

You know, it was in the regular lineup but slow sales led to its demise. Now you get a chance to see (smell) what you're going to be missing. I apply the same approach to Chatillon Lux products as I do to B&M soaps. Get em all, get em often. No regrets
hawns what determines whether a scent stays in the lineup or goes? Obviously demand but is there anything else?

Definitely mostly demand. Then there are other factors, like La Forêt de Liguest went partially due to sales, partially due to only wanting to have one fougère in the line up. I feel pretty good with how things are for the forseeable future outside of one-offs like another Blackberry Blossom Bay run or Colonia Balsamica tagging in for La Quatrième Ville during the warmer months.

I definitely feel lucky to have tried this one, Marko. Catalan's Prairie was likely discontinued prior to me getting into wet shaving (I started in April '16). And it was likely another few months before I was aware of Chatillon Lux products. I have found discontinued products and "discontinued" vendors to be a frustrating part of this hobby.
hawns, just out of curiosity, are there any others that were discontinued? Never mind, never mind, never mind...if you tell me I may get VCLAD (vintage Chatillon Lux acquisition disorder)

Thats the beauty of it, yes stuff gets discontinued before you even knew it existed but as new people enter the wet shaving world and markets expand there is the possibility that discontinued scents come back either as LEs or to stay. The other thing about Chatillon Lux is that being focussed on the post-shave aspect of shaving, its market isn't limited to traditional wet shavers - any shaver, cartridge or even electric uses post shave products.
