If you go to Charcoal Goods instagram page and scroll way down you will find pictures of all the different generations of the maze handles.

Whole razor with New handle is listed as 76 g vs 100 g for my Florian Cross handle. From the handle dimensions page, Florian should have less steel. Narrative says solid steel generally for these razors. Could it be hollow?
It is indeed hollow.
New - 76g (hollow to reduce weight)
Doesn't appear to be a single piece of metal from the photo.
Good to see a few SS level ones available, not that I have either cap or SS handles.

Rob, that looks incredible. You must have an amazing collection
Per Instagram Brian designed this new razor called "Everyday" 316 stainless steel selling for $125-150 range. No release date but probably after his move to Portland. Accordingly this will be a mild razor but efficient. If you have a CG razor level 1,2 or 3 don't sell them because its possible we won't ever see them again.

The Everyday razor is Brian's budget razor despite being made from 316 stainless. He makes that distinction on the website now.
Don't sell your premium razor... well unless you have spare Copper Stars and Stripes handle
Fedsbackhand Love that original Bishop handle which is classic Charcoal Goods like his Hammered and Maze. It was so good/popular that Italian Barber copied/stole the Bishop (pattern) for the Razorock Lupo line of razors (and others) without any credit to Brian
Yes the Stars and Stripes is my favorite and I know it is has a special place in the hearts of many ... PS it ain't leaving my den either.

Hi. I have a question about the generation 1 in SS. I know about the first release that was marked with just the charcoal C that looks like it is laser engraved and was released in satin and polished finish and was only available in lev1. I also have seen photos of a gen1 in lev2 with the same type of engraving with serial # as the brass and copper baseplates have. So my question is: was it a later release of the lev1 with the same engraving as the brass and copper baseplates, or was it only the first release with just the laser engraved C. I am also wondering if there ever was released a gen1 SS in lev3?
