I wish he kept his maze and hammer handle around.
So the Maze and Hammer are the only two current CG handle designs you like? What is it about the maze design you like as opposed to the Original Bishop on the left in that posted image?

I think all of his previous handles are more attractive than these two.

I hope CG keep making more attractive and better shavers than his previous razors.

I am happy he might move to Ti razors, but at the same time I am expecting to get more attractive designs.

I’m with you CK, I’d love to see his artistic talent continue the trend with handles.  Selfishly, I love all his handle designs, from Day 1 through a couple months ago.  I say that because I haven’t given much look into the few new designs offered currently.  The Hammer is too small for ME, but it is a popular design.  I think I’ve had every single design sans 1, my fav oddly enough is the Torpedo which most people don’t like.  Love the Stinger V1, the bee is classic signature CG. The Original Bishop is so perfectly classy.  I could comment every handle.  I currently have 6 designs that will remain here, various metals.  I look forward to seeing some new designs. I’m going to pass along a couple mock ups to Brian as I hobby paint and draw.  I think they’re dynamite, but I like spinach in my protein shakes.

Those two are my favorite. The maze for example is the most unique handle out there. Nothing comes close. The stinger is also pretty cool, but I wouldn't buy it over the maze or hammer.
Both of the proposed handles look like they were made by an amateur. Looks a solid piece of steel, with some knurling in a small section. They look lazy to me. I hope neither of these will be his final design, is so that really sucks.

Man... I have to be honest, I’m not a fan of this, at all! I love Brian and his work but those handles are terrible designs imo compared to the amazing work Brian has put out. I don’t like this trend CG’s is going in. His Gen 1 razors were perfection, to me, with so many options... and just pieces of art to pass down! I know he says his new razor shaves the same but I disagree.. and it’s not as aesthetically pleasing either, imo. It seems like maybe he’s trying to find a way to be more productive and efficient while appealing to most shavers, but imo it’s at a big expense, compromising his work of art. It just doesn’t seem like CG’s anymore... and I hate to say that but it is my honest reaction. This is unfortunate news to me... I wouldn’t be interested at this point. I do wish Brian well though and a lot of success... And I truly mean that, he seems like a great guy.... He always treated me very well!

My thoughts are exactly same as yours,
.. I have a CG Gen1 LV3 razor. Even I don't like any brass razors, I love this razor. And now paying extra to get Rhodium revamp.

Living on the edge
I like this guy Brian...he's always been so unassuming while putting out very nice products and letting them
do the talking.

All the best to him and his business wherever he goes.

I enjoyed using my CG Lvl2 SB with hammered handle.

CG and Paradigm are my two favorite razors. Do you know if Brian will be producing razors in copper or brass as well as SS? I would definitely buy one of his new razors if they come out in copper or antique brass (or titanium), even though I don’t like the handles as much as the maze or hammered handles which are incredibly beautiful to me. I wish Brian the best of luck with this. It does sound like a smart move for him.

I like the one on the left. It appears that Brian just wants to move on for one reason or another. You can't create art if your heart's not in it. I'm grateful for the wonderful contribution he's made and wish him the best.

I only have gen 1 razors from Brian which I love. The new generation never really appealed despite hearing they are smoother and provide better support for the blade. I'm always on the hunt for classic handles missing from my setup (have couple on the way now).

Best of luck to Brian.
