This is the final production run of the Gen1 (1st generation) razor baseplate design.
Production has already begun on the new Gen2.
The original Gen1 will undergo a re-design and will be re-launched as the Gen3 in 2021-2022.

Charcoal Goods has few new pieces ready to ship including stainless L2 and L3 baseplates and caps.

Snagged a Lvl-3 base plate and a Bishop handle in SS. I will now have a full CG stainless setup with the handle I always wanted. I'm actually happy with the Lvl-2 plate I have, but thought I'd grab a Lvl-3 to try out and to round out the setup.

I went straight for the L3 hope I dont regret not getting L2 first, we'll see.

Ordered L3 with a bishop variant handle in SS.

I'm thinking about a level 3 in stainless. 

I have CG OC & SB in Lv 2 & 3 brass. Do I want a CG in stainless ? I really like the brass models I have. 

BTW ... he characterizes a "Lv 2 as (Mid-Aggressive) - Similar to Gillette New, Timeless .95"

IME the level 2 might be like a Gillette New, I really don't remember from when I have one, but it is NOT like a Timeless .95. A level 3 is more like the T.95 IMO.

Anyone else agree with that ?
