Plus, the virus should be dead due to the transit time and people should be sterilizing previously used personal items regardless, even before all of this started.
Another thing to keep in mind is that different parts of the country are at different points on the growth curve, meaning there's always going to be some places that are hot spots and others which are relatively unaffected.
And this virus will be with us for a long time. This thing isn't going away anytime soon.
I respect your decisions, but I really don't thing it's necessary to pause the pass around. Those who feel uncomfortable can opt-out or asked to be placed at the back of the line.
Just my opinion

Edit just to add that people don't even have to leave their houses to ship packages. You can have the USPS pickup the package free of charge.

it's just a matter of caution more than anything. I think we'll all survive by delaying this pass around a few weeks.

With asthma, I would be in the higher risk group.  Could my name be moved down 1 position (I am currently next in line).

Hi all,

Here's the current pass around list for the Carbon razor. This pass around will include 1 handle, 1 top cap and 3 base plates: the original base plate plus 2 new base plates Carbon has designed.

Since there's only 1 razor being passed around, please try to get the razor sent out to the next person via priority mail after 7 days of usage so things move along at a decent pace.

Pass around list:

Carbon "+" vs. Karve "E"

A bit over 1 day growth, first had 3 passes (WTG, XTG, ATG), after third pass I switched the sides and got one more ATG.
Blade: New GSB, and this is the first time I used Karve.

After 3 passes, I switched the sides, Karve "E" cleaned some whiskers, whereas Carbon "+" didn't.
I can say Karve "E" a bit more efficient and gives closer shave.
Carbon "+" is very audible, even considerable more than "++". I felt some blade chattering. On the other hand, Karve holds blade very rigid.
I also would like to note here Andrew found Carbon "+" had very low blade feel & audible feedback to him. It has better to wait more members' reviews.
Carbon "+" has more blade feeling than Karve "E". I might say I found Karve smoother.
But Carbon is lighter, and well balanced, so more maneuverable;
and also it has thinner bars and I got better skin stretching.

I pretty like "++", and would like to get it; but "+" didn't work well with me.
Honestly, I prefer Nodachi or Blackbird over both Karve "E" and Carbon "+".

CK89 I'm enjoying your comparison shaves. Thanks, it's giving the rest of us good information.

CK89 Another great comparison shave. Have you compared the ++ plate to a WR2 1.55?

I got the razor on Friday, and in four days, I had three shaves.
Next time, I can compare it with WR2 1.55, but I know the result.
Since WR2 1.55DC is my most favorite razor. Especially, OC side.
Super efficient, very smooth, thin head, light weight, nice blade feel, hold blade very rigid, and super easy to find accurate angle.
Hope to get its titanium one.

Sometimes I am thinking why I have so many razors, after I found my best.

CarbonShavingCo. just released a full Titanium razor weighing in at 52g. Sean said he plans on making the additional baseplates in Ti also.

Not an outrageous price either, IME. It'll be a nice option for those liking the original flavor.
