The cap and plate are very smooth, and the finish looks great. I'll give it a go tonight, tomorrow, and Friday before sending out on Saturday morning. Are there two razors in the East list and if so who is next?

There's only one razor for the East list. The other one went back to Carbon.

Great first shave using a Gillette Rubie blade. I'll post more detail after Friday.

Thank you CaptainJohnny...love the bag ideas and appreciate your insights. I was going to send you a PM but thought others might also have opinions:

Would you consider it "appropriate" and/or "appealing" for a manufacturer to offer a Titanium handle with a 316L stainless steel head?

Sure. I don't see why not. I picked up a TiBam to use with the my Carbon head, so that was already my plan (Titanium handle + steel head).

I think so. You could use a larger diameter handle without adding too much weight, especially since the head looks pretty light weight.

I haven’t gotten to use this yet and judging by the pics and specs I imagine it might be different in this case. However - typically I do not like ti handles with SS heads as the balance gets all out of whack.

How much does the head weigh?

Depending on that answer, I would certainly like to see a Ti on that head.

How is the threading on the Tibam when put on the Carbon head?
