My TiBam handle arrived yesterday. I finally got my first shave with it this morning on the Carbon razor head. Brilliant. The difference the handle made was huge as far as control and grip compared to the Carbon handle. The dead zone in the middle of the Carbon razor is a problem for the ATG and XTG passes. The razor head is great.[Image: 5b189f46846c7aa98092216145115c46.jpg][Image: 8312230651566c71932501043c986d19.jpg]

What do you mean by "the dead zone"? I don't think I've ever heard that expression.

There is a gap between the knurling on the handle with the Carbon razor. It's smooth so no real grip and much skinnier than the rest of the handle, which makes it hard to hold onto. Basically, it's unusable real estate right in the middle of the handle, or a "dead zone" for me.

Got it... I thought from your 1st post you were talking about the head because it was the only Carbon part of the razor that was in the pics you posted.

My Wolfman with WRH7 handle has the same dead zone. Both the Wolfman and the Carbon Shaving handles match my grip perfectly for WTG and XTG. I do ATG on occasion for touchup on the chin which can create grip issues. The skinny dead space area is "really skinny" and different from other razors.

Sorry. Should have clarified. I can see how that wasn't clear.

First go with the razor thanks to a passaround on DFS. Boy, so far I’m impressed. Design, fit and finish are on point and the shave is smooth and comfortable. The handle works for me and my shaving style and the balance is phenomenal. Looking forward to another 4-5 daily shaves with it.

Off to great start. There’s a lot to like about this razor. Another 4/5 shaves will pin it down as far as where it stands in my lineup. [Image: 3dcb42516f5af67ea3bc1a19bf1cbb66.jpg]
