Can I get some JabonMan/Eufros Tallow Soap review?

Tried my sample of Fougere this morning and I liked it so much I'm trading my Ylang Ylang for a tub of it.  It is not like any Fougere I've tried.  More herbaceous and much more subtle than the other Fougeres I've smelled.  I like it!

Manuel's Fougère is certainly different to any other Fougère I've tried. Not sure if this is the full scent profile, but it contains juniper, sage, lavender and mint.

Does everyone else find the scent of the Fougere to be incredibly light? In the tub a got just a day or two ago I can barely smell it? Does it open up when lathering?

My tub has very little scent at all. A little disappointing after reading on different forums of how it was such an outstanding scent.

Dave, that is very unfortunate as my container of Fougere smells quite lovely and the scent is quite pronounced.

Dave, I have a sample of the new Fougere and I find it to be a very light, very subtle scent as well. I don't smell it very much when lathering. I may have some from the same batch as you.

The Ylang Ylang is a much stronger scent, almost a bit too strong for my taste in the tub. However it's fine when lathering. Same with Dama de Noche, much stronger than the Fougere. It may be the batch.

I'd say my Fougère scent strength is about 6/10. Very hard to pick individual notes besides mint to me tho.

My Fougere is 7/10 in the scent dept. I don't find it too mellow but it also doesn't gain intensity as it's lathered.

I'm currently using the V1 version of Fougère, from the first batch made. The scent is prominent; I'd say 7/10. I had a reserve tin of the latest V2 formulation which I recently sent to another UK forum member to try, and I'd rate that scent at 5/10. I'm expecting another parcel from Manuel, either today or tomorrow, which contains a replacement Fougère and will be from the latest batch. I'll report back my finding when it arrives.
