the system would just verify that the person is who they say they are, while being anonymous to DFS itself - meaning, my friend's system, if I understand it correctly, would just tell me if they pass the checks or not without passing any directly identifying information back to me.
I imagine his system would allow us to set whatever parameters we want to verify: name, address, phone number, photo id, etc..
Still I believe this move can act as a first line of defense.

the user base on DFS, while global, is largely from the USA. still, I'd like to try to cover as many bases as possible.
