By the time I post this i suspect JohnB413 will have exited DFS.  Dude, I can well understand not agreeing with me or others on a situation but to randomly post "wolfman" and other inflammatory remarks in the BST seems to me the grownup equivalent of falling on the floor screaming and kicking your feet in an attempt to get your way.  You sir, hold your manhood cheap.  My advice is to start your own group if you don't like someone else's.

I agree. shaveSymptomatic should also be reprimanded for abuse of the "Wolfman" rule.

By his own doing, John has earned a two week ban and we moderators will be discussing whether or not to make that ban permanent.

EDIT: The ban has been made permanent. Honestly, gentlemen, the final straw for us was when he deliberately posted the word "Wolfman" in about five or six threads. I then had to go in and delete them. Not only was that time consuming on my part but it completely disrespects Wolfman, both the product and the man behind it. If I missed deleting one of those one word posts, please let me know. Thanks. Now, let's move on. Smile

I'm not sure, but guessing he thought posting the word, "Wolfman" would cause the lock to kick in on other peoples BST threads ... what a twit ! Goodbye and good riddance !

Yeah, his behavior is right in line with someone who would use the term Soy Boy! Another alternative could be Beta Male, or Beta Cuck etc.

we likely may allow thread creators to lock their b/s/t threads, if they wish. some people just don't want to be bothered with comments and would rather have stuff sent through PM.

So it's not a flaw... It's a feature!

The system is working as intended. Yes, someone stuffed "wolfman" in all white at the bottom of their post to have it locked... I'll speak to said user.

That aside, people have asked us to lock comments entirely in the bst. While I'm not interested in going that far, if someone wants to lock their own thread they started in the bst, I don't see why it's an issue.

All wolfman bst threads will likely remain automatically locked for the foreseeable future..
