I think it is the machined finish, though mine came looking somewhat polished. I also prefer machined/satin finish, so I added a bit of the brushed texture myself.

My first go with Ti Vector was simply sublime. The quality of the shave was exquisite and it rivals what I get from a Ti Blackbird. Additionally, the Ti Vector (on the left) feels even more maneuverable than its older SS sibling (or a twin?) An absolute keeper and quite a looker! Shane did it AGAIN!

Nice.  Mine is waiting for me in the mailbox right now.  The SS Vector is the only razor I use currently, looking forward to trying out the lighter package.

Does anyone know or maybe Blackland Razors if this will be a limited offering? Really wanting to snag one of these, but about to be deploying and now wanting to just leave it sitting at home for a couple of months as I’d hate to take it with me and possible have it lost or damaged.

It’s not a limited offering. They could sell out, but we’re making more.

I have an SS Vector. It's phenomenal. Shane is absolutely great to deal with, as is his company. You can be confident that he'll announce it if he decides to discontinue a razor. I say this as the proud owner of a Dart, which is superb and I hope one day he brings it back.

The SS Vector was a game changer for me; it’s the only razor I’ve used for several months now and it caused me to sell off every DE razor I owned. This morning I had my first shave with the Ti Vector, and I can confidently say after just one use, this is another game changer for me. The Ti Vector is every bit as efficient as the SS version, but much more “forgiving” when it comes to pressure due to the lighter weight. Don’t get me wrong, I was absolutely blown away by the SS Vector’s ability to deliver an incredibly close shave without sacrificing comfort (hence the reason it replaced all other razors I used previously). But even with as good as the SS Vector is, for me the Ti version takes it up even another notch. I have a feeling this will prove to be yet another ground breaking addition to the wet shaving community and AC razor platform. Absolutely outstanding execution Shane and Blackland Razors.

First shave today.

Fit and finish. Second to none. Henson-like fit. The handle fits perfectly into the stand like no other razor I've ever owned (I've own/ed most modern razors ). The tolerances all around are a testament to thoughtful, R&D, engineering, and tooling. My profession involves specifying lots of custom metal fabrications and achieving such tight tolerances at production scale is impressive.

The shave. 0 irritation, 3 pass bbs for 24 hr growth. There was no learning curve here. It was as comfortable as if I'd been using it for years(Hint: I plan to)As smooth as the paradigm se, with twice the efficiency. I could also never get this close of a shave with the paradigm even after 5 passes. Could be my desert island razor.

Ill throw in a final comment here. I had my 5th consecutive shave with the ti vector this morning. My opinion and results have not changed. World-class in every metric.
