I am in the same exact camp as you. Today was my 5th shave, I am normally an every-day shaver. The Ti Vector is the best razor I've used, and previous to that it was the SS Vector. I really enjoy the lighter weight of the Ti, it is more forgiving to pressure and user-error (the SS Vector is also extremely user friendly). I don't find any sacrifice to efficiency with the Ti, at least not on 24 hours of growth and I can't yet comment on multiple days growth.

Hello everyone!
Today i received my pre-ordered Vector Ti and i am a little bit confused with the look of it. It has a deep mark on the bottom plate where the handle meets the plate as well as there are lots of "microdots" all over the top cap. Don't get me wrong - i understand what means "machined finish" and i also have Ti Blackbird which looks really well and has no any flaws. But for the 380$ in total (with shipping to Russia) i thought i would get at least the same finishing quality as titanium Blackbird. Am i the only one unlucky here?

I would be disappointed as well and would reach out to Shane. He has exceptional customer service after the sale.

Was the razor loose in the packaging? Some early pre-orders had issues with the foam inserts not securing the razor, causing it to bounce around and incur damage. This has already been fixed. Shoot us an email to support@blacklandrazors.com and we’ll get it taken care of.

Hello.
Yes it was. The razor was not in the groove where it should be and you can see in the picture that the groove is not so accurate as it should be.

Yes that's the issue I mentioned. We've resolved this packaging and will make sure that you're completely taken care of.

Regarding this case - i've received a new Vector Ti and everything is good with it. Thanks Shane for sending me a full replacement at his expense without requiring to send back the first damaged razor.
I’ll say this. This morning I took my maiden voyage with a SS machined Vector that I bought secondhand from someone who was purchasing the TI one. I loaded it up with a Kai Mild blade (or I believe that’s what the wrapper from Try a Blade said). At first I was skeptical as I’ve had issues with AC blades and the usually seem rough against my skin. However, after the initial first pass and seeing how much hair was coming off my 1 day of growth I was already impressed. A second ATG pass left me in awe with pretty much a DFS. I lathered back up with an across the grain pass and afterwards was left with a BBS and a face feel that I never get with DE razors. A splash of Myrsol Formula K and no burn and I knew this was a fantastic shave. I must admit I can’t believe I waited so long to join the Vector party.
