I decided to to a quick test lather of this intriguing soap I got with my first Blackbird razor. I'm by no means a so called "expert". This is as raw as is it going to be.
I picked a little fiendish brush in the BSB three band Silvertip and my Captain's Choice LE bowl.
The scent is very nice. The coconut scent is present, but it is very nicely mixed with the other ingredients. I even got a hint of tobacco, but that may be my hypersensitive nose I'll let Shane square me away on that.
The lather is luxurious. Very little bubbles, easy to lather, and tons of lathery heaven with little product. It didn't required a lot of water, and I have hard water in my house. I could whip forever and still have enough lather for several passes.
This is a very nice soap that I intend to use for sure.
