I decided to to a quick test lather of this intriguing soap I got with my first Blackbird razor.  I'm by no means a so called "expert".  This is as raw as is it going to be.Big Grin

I picked a little fiendish brush in the BSB three band Silvertip and my Captain's Choice LE bowl.

The scent is very nice.  The coconut scent is present, but it is very nicely mixed with the other ingredients.  I even got a hint of tobacco, but that may be my hypersensitive noseBig Grin I'll let Shane square me away on that.

The lather is luxurious.  Very little bubbles, easy to lather, and tons of lathery heaven with little product.  It didn't required a lot of water, and I have hard water in my house.  I could whip forever and still have enough lather for several passes.

This is a very nice soap that I intend to use for sure.

'Bout time, Hector! Glad to hear it. Robert did a great job on this soap. It's certainly part of my rotation and I'm glad to have a few extra tubs. Smile

I dig the Blackland/Local Gent collaboration too. Funny, I also get a ton of evergreen, cedar from it. Great performer and a killer overview hrfdez .

Where is it being sold? Went to the site and don't see it anywhere.

I have this soap (thanks Shane!) and really I like it a lot. It's in my rotation. Does everything I ask from a soap, performance-wise. Has a sort of piney, vetiveral type of scent that smells to me like a lumber yard from my youth. I don't know if LocalGent actually sells it tho - as I understand it, he specially made it for Shane @ Blackland Razors. Got mine from Shane in connection with my Blackbird razor purchase from him.

That evergreen, resinous scent is what I get the most of too. Very pleasant as I love that stuff!
