How a DE blade is curved/twisted, supported on its baseplate, clamping distance, cap span, all matter greatly in DE design but very little in SE/injector/AC design. You know this. It's why you can stick a Gem in a Wilkinson Empire or C.V. Heljestrand which don't clamp at all ir even support on top or bottom and get a great shave (as you can in the DeHaven with an AC blade).
Not saying the frame doesn't make a difference...the Supply design definitely felt way different than my Schick injectors..but it shaved no more effectively and truthfully I hated the lack of feedback. Ditto the three AC razors I owned all felt different, primarily a function of exposure/gap/angle.
We will just agree to disagree.
Be assured if there's a pass around I'll be the first to sign up, always open to pleasant surprises.

SE razors hold the blade, they don't manipulate it to increase rigidity as DE razors do. Obviously angle, clamping, gap, and exposure can impact the shave but that's pretty much it. Unless I'm missing something with what is being done here.
So maybe what I disagree with is that I think DE heads are just blade holders, too. The only difference is the curvature of the blade. But once that’s been taken into account they are the same. The curve creates that rigidity so once it’s curved you can sort of treat a DE like a rigid SE blade. It requires a little bit of extra math, but the differences in design aren’t as dramatic as I think you are suggesting.
