Blackland Blackbird

1st shave with the BB Titanium OC wasn't bad on the 1st pass but the second was kinda rough, 2 days growth. I finished with the Ti Safety Bar, it felt. so smooth.
    Ok, 2nd shave was 3days growth and a different blade, what a nice close shave, very close.
    This was only 2 shaves, only 2, but
I think I've found a nice place for the OC plate for my preference.

I also shaved this morning with the BB Ti OC and it was great. Yes you do feel the OC alot with this razor but the results are second to none. The OC weighs only 51 grams opposed to the CC which is 54 grams.  Happy shaving Keith

Getting the itch to pick up a titanium Blackbird (again). Too bad the urge didn’t kick in until after the Black Friday sale. I have a brass and stainless Bird and have come to the realization that for a DE it doesn’t get any better for me. I have read rumblings/conjectures of potential anodized versions being released. I’ll be patiently waiting to pick up a black version if on the horizon. Paging Shane…

I was going to buy a replacement Ti BB too but wanted the anodized/heat treated version and it’s not being offered at the moment.

Dark grey/anthracite coating for stainless is coming. Anodized titanium on the horizon, but not black.

Is a black ti BB possible from a technical perspective?

I just had my first run with the Ti Bird I acquired from the recent Black Friday sale. So far this is the most efficient razor I’ve tried. Well done, Blackland!
