Native english speaker and college professor. I simply typed too fast on my phone in that original post. What I commented on next was the level of snark that I didn’t expect on this forum.

My post was good natured ribbing. No offense intended. Quoting yourself and agreeing with your own post struck me as funny. Again, it was teasing which is plentiful on the forum as camaraderie...... it's good not to take ourselves too seriously.

Been known to post distracted or in haste as well. No offence intended as members are sometimes unintentionally tough on those whose primary language isn't English

Gentlemen, humor is often difficult to do on the Interweb. Even professional comedians have a fine line to walk with being funny and being offensive.

Let's give others the benefit of the doubt before imputing negative intentions.

If there is a real concern, a PM would always be welcome.

Offensive was funny up until 5 minutes ago. People need to find their hides again.

Having been a moderator on this forum for over five years (retired now) let me tell you, the posts here don’t even come close to moving the needle on the snark-o-meter. People thought that you agreeing with yourself was funny, in a good way from what I can see. Heck, there’s nothing wrong with agreeing with yourself. It would have been weird if you’d disagreed and started trolling yourself.    Also, you gave us another opening by mentioning you’re a college professor but we’re all gentlemen and bay rum lovers here so we’ll let that one go.
