Definitely! Let me know if you do as well!  Smile

I probably should throw my 2 batches in a bottle to try them out on my skin...see how the skin feel is and whether or not the scent has evolved some in a different glass than the one it was made and stored in for the last 15 months or so.

Yeah I don't think I made it 4 months waiting on mine.  Confused

bay rum season is upon us!  we need more bay rum chatter in here!

a few weeks ago I poured my 2 homemade bay rum creations into 2 different aftershave bottles that Dragonsbeard sent to me (kudos buddy)!

The issue I had with them smelling very boozy from within the mason jars they've been sitting in was not one I had once they were poured into aftershave bottles. I'm not sure why this is as they've been strained and put into different, clean mason jars from what they were steeping in for 6-8 weeks. I'll let someone who is more apt with chemistry and such to try to answer that question!

On to the aftershaves them self. diy aftershave #2 is definitely the better smelling of the two for me.....the bay rum comes through better and it's less muddled than diy aftershave #1. the skin conditioning, for me, seems to be great!

diy aftershave #1 is also lighter in color than diy aftershave #2:

Just fed it for the first time this week. Relegated to duty as shower soap for me.

Same here.  A favorite. Sadly, my puck is just about done.  And, equally sadly, I never was able to find the splash.

if you like sandalwood and bay rum, this one is pretty good and has pretty good staying power: https://www.etsy.com/listing/173319999/1...t_detail=1

I'm wearing it today..I put it on about 2 hours ago and can still smell it, easily.
