Freddy thats one of my favourite bath soaps.

Ironically, Marko in my last Stirling bathsoap order, one of the four or five I purchased was Barbershop but I had not yet gotten to it.  A friend got me a Stirling tuxedo brush for the holidays and he put the sample bath soap that Rod and Mandy included in the order in the gift.  Now, once the sample is finished, I have a full cake of Barbershop soap to look forward to. Big Grin

As an aside, if you haven’t tried Rod’s and Mandy’s shampoo bars, I highly recommend them.  I ordered two (along with a Peach bathsoap Winking) and have been using the first one for a while.  It is easily the finest shampoo I have used in a very long time.  Not only does it leave my hair soft, it is non-drying, a quality I don’t find in most commercial shampoos.  Also, because it is a shampoo bar, all of it gets used and there is no plastic bottle thrown into a landfill somewhere.

Thanks for the tip Freddy , I'm currently using a PAA Atomic Age Bay Rum shampoo bar and I quite like it I'll pick up some Stirling to try once I've used up the PAA bar. I like the shampoo bar format for shampoo. They also take up less space than a large plastic bottle that stays the same size as you use it up - I just have a slightly larger soap dish and both body and shampoo bars of soap reside in it. I also like getting the shampoo bars in some of my favourite scents.

I started in on this bar on December 30th or 31st...I picked it up in the French Market while I was visiting New Orleans in November:

the soap works just fine. I wish the scent strength was amped up a touch or two though..

Razorock The Rock. Scent is very nice but mild. Bar is hard so I suspect triple milled. It's lasting a lot longer than softer soaps from Stirling ( which I love and will use again).

Same here. It's basically unscented. All I get is a faint herbal smell like thyme or something. The bar is a lot harder than Stirling but it's also about half the size. It does make a nice lather though. I think I read somewhere here that they're made by Saponificio Varesino.
