The Rock by Razorock is my favorite bar soap. The bars I have used seem to be well scented to me, mild citrus with tuscan herbs, perhaps a touch of floral.

I find my skin gets negative reactions to many big brand name bar soaps, but never had an issue with Razorock bars. And yes, they seem to last longer than many other similar brands.

I have a bath soap rotation, like to have some variety to keep things interesting. These are the ones I have been rotating:

SV Cosmo
Razorock Sandalwood
Chiseled Face Sherlock, Tradewinds
Soap Commander- Endurance, lime Pachouli
African black soap
Capucu butter B&W soap

I picked up a bar of Chiselled Face Santa Paula from the Men Essentials close out sale and tried it out yesterday. I'd been thinking about picking up a tub of the Santa Paula shaving soap but I'm glad I haven't. This soap had all of zero scent to it. Its going to be relegated to hand soap duty in the kitchen or spare bathroom. To be fair its possible that its been kicking around the ME stockroom for years and has lost all of its scent or it might even be an unscented bar that was mislabelled - if you've sent he Chiselled Face body soap they come in a little cotton bag tied with string - no sealing of any kind or plastic wrap on the soap. Personally I'd rather CF dispensed with the cotton bag and just shrink wrapped the soap.

Sorry to hear about the Santa Paula soap, Marko. I have a sample of the aftershave in that scent, and enjoy it a great deal.

Thanks Matsilainen , I'm using the soap as hand soap. I'm certain it isn't Santa Paula. Its got a vague sort of leather scent and thats it. I think the way they're packaged in that cotton sack allows for the potential of mixups if something were to fall out somewhere along the way. I want it shrink wrapped with a label.

So alternatively I'm using Lightfoot's Limited Edition Pure Pine Athletic Soap, one of my favourites. I'm not sure how limited it is because its always been available when I wanted it. Smile

Crowne and Crane - Thuringian Forest is my go to.

Scent profile: Thuringian Forest has a very complex and manly scent profile. It starts off with top notes of Bergamot, Lemon, Clary Sage, Aldehydes and Juniper, bolstered by middle notes of Geranium, Lavender, Orange Blossom, Clove, Nutmeg, Pimento and Red Oak. All of those exquisite scents build upon the earthy base notes of Cedarwood, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Vetiver, Musk and Coffee. When combined, they intermingle into an amazingly complex men's cologne fragrance that is deep, warm and woody.
