Thanks!

Took FOREVER to get the stuff right; the fundamental design principle was "If it's not perfect, it's not good enough." I genuinely consider the product to be perfect. Smile

As Matsilainen said, the site will reopen on September 10th. We had a pre-order open for a week, which was very successful, and will switch the system back on when it's ready to start shipping. I actually just got some cool photos today of Spice being finished:

Sounds awesome. Are scent descriptions available anywhere for the Reserve line?

Iâ€ll once again step in, I hope thatâ€s OK. I believe Will said somewhere that vegetable color was used to color the Reserve line of products. Iâ€m sure he can fill in with more details.

BoarderPhreak has written some insights about the Reserve products at the link below. I hope that helps. Smile

Vegetable dyes, which is why, if you look at the scents OTHER than Classic (which contains no colorant), there's another whole list of plant extracts that make up the dye. It's a lot of eggplant extract and such.

Wish there is a non-alcohol version, so that I can actually ship it over to Singapore!

Thank you, I will definitely drop them a message. I'm more of a Balm guy but I've read too much good reviews on reserve, plus so far all my shaves with B&M have been awesome.

Just dropped them an email and got a reply with 5mins.

Unfortunately, they do not ship to Singapore anymore. A depressing news to start the day. I'll have to try other method.

Quote:Hi David, had a real tear jerker this morning with my tub of Arctique. There is wear, perhaps more so than firmer soaps but after (4) uses did verify that I have plenty left and no where near the bottom of the tub.

I used a large synthetic today and can't recall what brushes I have used in the past but I generally do use big boys, whether natural or synthetic.

Not much help I'm afraid...
That's okay, Kevin. It is what it is and I'll just get to use another container sooner than anything else.Big Grin

Just a very quick update. I finally finished my first container of Arctique after 15 shaves. This morning, I began the second container that I bought a short time, later. This new one has a much firmer consistency to that of the first. Not quite to that of my other B&M soaps, but definitely a noticeable difference. I'm beginning to wonder if shipping conditions may have had an effect on the product. Anyhow, whatever, I'm thinking this second container of Arctique will have a longer life. Smile

Barrister_N_Mann , some questions about the Reserve line:

- Do you think one could use the AS as a daily moisturizer, even on non-shaving days?
- What is the recommended shelf life (or better, PAO)?

You could, but it might be rather hard to splash it all over your face (and it would be STRONG for awhile). The shelf life is essentially unlimited (the product is still largely alcoholic), but I've never heard the abbreviation PAO. Would you mind clarifying?
